Calculating

This is a geometric layout suggestion. Check load strength, securing, weight distribution and forklift clearance separately.

How many boxes fit on a Euro pallet?

A 120 × 80 cm pallet fits four upright 60 × 40 × 40 cm boxes per layer. With a total height limit of 160 cm, subtracting the 14.4 cm empty pallet height leaves room for three layers, or 12 boxes. Weight limits may reduce this quantity.

Does total height include the pallet?

Yes. The empty pallet height is subtracted first. The 3D view shows the usable cargo space above the pallet. Net payload excludes the pallet's own weight. Verify the actual rating of your pallet.

What is included in the layout?

The calculator compares straight and rotated strip patterns for identical boxes. Boxes stay upright and may not overhang. Layers repeat the same pattern. It does not assess crush strength, interlocking layers or securing. Maximum 2,000 boxes and 30 layers; no guarantee of a global optimum.
