Which exchange rates are used?
The source is CBRT indicative forex rates. Every rate is normalised to Turkish lira per one currency unit. The source's 100-unit JPY quotation is divided by 100 before conversion.
How is a cross rate calculated?
Source amount × source currency's TRY rate / target currency's TRY rate. Both sides use the selected buying or selling series. This is an indicative comparison, not an executable bank quote. Spreads and fees are excluded.
Why might the source date be an earlier day?
The latest published business-day rate is shown. The feed is checked twice daily, not streamed in real time. Source date and last check date are different. A visible warning appears if the source date is more than four calendar days old.
